Midweight Technical Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and ambitious Midweight Technical Designer to join our technical design team. This role is ideal for a technically strong designer who is fully proficient in Revit and eager to continue developing their skills within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

The position will initially focus on supporting the front-end pitch and bid stages of projects, producing high-quality technical and visual assets to support winning submissions. Over time, the role will expand to include technical delivery support on live projects, working closely with senior technical designers and wider project teams.

• Provide technical design support during the pitch and bid stages of projects, including the development of Revit models, assets, and presentation-ready outputs.
• Produce contract-ready technical drawing packs, coordinated models, and a full suite of Revit assets to support both pitches and project delivery.
• Build, model, render, and visualise designs using Revit, including the integration of materials and lighting to produce rendered views and walkthroughs via Enscape.
• Support senior technical designers on live projects, assisting with typical site-based coordination and technical problem-solving as required.
• Assist in maintaining and developing technical standards, workflows, and best practices within the Revit environment.
• Collaborate closely with interior designers, project managers, and commercial teams to ensure coordinated and technically robust solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical support function, helping to elevate quality, efficiency, and innovation.

• Full proficiency in Revit across the complete workflow (modeling, detailing, rendering, and coordination).
• Experience integrating Revit models with Enscape to produce rendered visuals and walkthroughs.
• Strong understanding of technical detailing and coordination within commercial interior projects.
• Experience producing contract-ready technical documentation.
• Client-facing and presentation-ready.

• Strong technical competence with a clear understanding of Revit-based workflows.

• Confident supporting both pitch-stage and live project work, adapting to changing priorities as required.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Comfortable, or keen to become, client- and pitch-facing, supporting presentations and technical discussions where appropriate.
