Senior Manager Cloud Solutions Projects

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 (British Pound Sterling)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Cloud Solutions who can start immediately to lead and manage cloud-based initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation.

• Lead end-to-end execution of cloud solutions projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Establish and track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards.

• Oversee the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Work with cloud architects and engineers to define best practices for cloud adoption.
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud environments.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored cloud solutions.
• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction through effective communication and reporting.
• Handle escalations and drive resolution of critical project issues.
• Manage a team of cloud engineers, architects, and project managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Mentor and guide technical teams, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to achieve project goals.

• Implement best practices and agile methodologies to enhance project execution efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve cloud strategies to optimize performance and cost.

• Cloud Expertise
  :
  Strong experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications preferred).
• Infrastructure & Dev Ops
  :
  Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Security & Compliance
  :
  Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, identity & access management, and compliance standards.
• 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in cloud project management
  .
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale cloud transformation projects
  .
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Dev Ops methodologies
  .
• Experience in budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
• Experience in multi‑cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.
