Your Career

As a Senior Consultant in Unit 42 you will work across proactive cybersecurity domains including Cloud Security, Security Operations, Cyber Risk Management, and Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity.

Your Impact
  • SOC Advisory – 4 years of consulting experience in SOC, security engineering, SIEM administration, incident management, and demonstrated success with serving large, multinational organizations in designing and implementing a security operations program, organizational structures, and capabilities.
  • Deep technical knowledge of SIEM platforms, SOAR technologies, EDR/XDR tools, next‑gen firewalls, threat intelligence, and hunting platforms.
  • Defensive Security skills (desired).
  • Security operations design, engineering, and analysis, investigations, ideally in complex environments, with security event correlations across cloud, network, endpoint, and logs.
  • Ability to perform detailed assessments, identify improvement areas, and recommend transformations to protect, detect, and respond to modern threats.
  • Experience improving security operations capabilities such as asset visibility, threat detection, automation, case management, and compliance enablement.
  • Threat hunting and compromise assessments to identify IoCs or unknown threats.
  • Relevant industry certifications: GIAC Defensible Security Architect (GDSA), GIAC Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON), CISSP.
  • Understanding of cyber risk frameworks or industry standards: NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001/2, PCI, CIS 18, CMMC.
  • Principal Cloud Security – 4 years of experience performing cloud security advisement and risk assessments based on industry‑accepted standards.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Experience with a Cloud Application Security Broker – MCAS, Netskope.
  • Deep technical knowledge of CASBs, Cloud Platforms, WAF, SSO, Cloud Threats, API Security, Cloud Security Posture Management.
  • Former cloud migrations experience.
  • Command‑line or scripting knowledge in cloud environments (plus).
  • Cloud Security skills (desired).
  • Secure software development practices, including Sec Dev Ops .
  • Knowledge of OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, D3

    FEND, CIS, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, ISO 27107.
  • Relevant industry certifications: CSCP.
  • Cyber Risk Management – experience performing threat & risk assessments to support strategies and roadmaps.
  • Technical proficiency in cyber risk services: threat, risk, control assessments, secure dev practices, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, compliance regulations, privacy and security frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Cyber Risk Management skills (desired).
  • Experience in threat modelling, application security risk assessments, Sec Dev Ops .
  • FAIR Open certified & experience applying FAIR for cyber risk quantification.
  • Relevant industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA.
Your Experience
  • 4 years of experience performing cybersecurity consulting in at least two of the three domains above, with SME experience in one domain.
  • Track record of strengthening existing and developing new client relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business demands.
  • Credibility, presence and gravitas to grow into a valuable contributor.
  • Deep understanding of PANW products.
  • Collaborative, relationship‑building skills across PANW functions, including sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security or equivalent years of professional experience.
