Job Overview

Dev Ops Engineer – PA Consulting, London, United Kingdom – Full‑time, hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office or on client site).

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high‑performance cloud applications using AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, monitoring, and incident response.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Automation & Orchestration:
  Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes, Docker, Open Shift
• Monitoring & Logging: ELK, Splunk, Cloud Watch, TICK Stack
• Serverless:
  Lambda, Cloud Functions, Azure Functions

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container runtimes.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Background in security clearance (UK) is required for this role. Applicants must be British citizens or have 5 years of continuous UK residency.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard background checks are mandatory.
