Digital Communication Manager

c. £550.00 per day, paid holiday and pension contributions

Contract Length: 6 months with potential extension

London - Hybrid 40% in office

Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of engaging and innovative cyber security communications and training materials.
- Implement and manage a structured communications planning and governance framework to support timely, consistent messaging.
- Own and coordinate the cyber security campaign calendar, including monthly awareness initiatives.
- Develop clear and compelling key messages that promote secure behaviours across the organisation.
- Create a consistent narrative and visual identity for security communications, aligned to corporate branding and accessibility standards.
- Design and produce communication assets across print, digital and web formats.
- Create and deliver cyber security training materials, including induction content for new joiners and new managers.
- Produce technical yet accessible content, ensuring clarity for non-technical audiences.
- Apply creative and innovative approaches to content design to support behaviour change.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of all messaging.
- Organise and promote monthly guest speakers and awareness sessions on cyber topics.
- Track, measure and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain communication logs, content records and campaign performance reporting.
- Provide coaching and support to junior team members.
- Producing training materials and security guidance
- Creating logs, reports and campaign performance summaries
- Designing visual assets for print and digital channels
- Coordinating education and awareness activities
- Liaising with technical and leadership stakeholders
- Ensuring content quality, accuracy and consistency
- Significant experience creating cyber security communications and training materials within a financial services or highly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of cyber security and technology concepts, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, communications functions and senior leaders.
- Strong project management capability with experience managing multiple parallel work streams.
- Experience working with communication analytics, evaluation metrics and campaign reporting.
- Demonstrable experience influencing behavioural or organisational change.
- Qualifications in Communications, Organisational Change, or Behavioural Change.
- Cyber or IT qualifications such as CompTIA Security+,
CISM
, or equivalent. - Graphic, print and web design capability, including layout and visual communication skills.
- Technical writing experience and the ability to produce structured guidance and documentation.
