Position OverviewAs a Litigation & Practice Technology (LPT) Senior Analyst, you will support legal teams through hands‑off management of data, databases, document productions, and advanced litigation technology tools. Working closely with LPT Project Managers and firm leadership, you will ensure the secure, efficient, and accurate handling of client data across all phases of transactional and litigation support.
This role offers a chance to apply expertise in eDiscovery tools, analytics, data forensics, and process improvement within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment that values precision, problem‑solving, and innovation. Occasional travel and after‑hours support may be required.
Essential Functions- Data & Database Management:
Process, convert, and manage electronically stored information (ESI) per case requirements. - Technical Execution:
Create, configure, and administer eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Brainspace. - Quality & Compliance:
Conduct quality control checks on data processing and production deliverables. - Production Support:
Generate custom load files, metadata, native and text files, ensuring proper OCR, redaction, and formatting. - Troubleshooting & Support:
Resolve complex data loading and application issues, providing timely technical assistance to legal teams. - Analytics & Reporting:
Utilize tools like Relativity Analytics and Brainspace for deduplication, email threading, privilege review, and predictive modeling. - Collaboration & Communication:
Partner with Project Managers, Operations, and legal teams to meet deadlines and maintain clear cross‑office communication. - Process Improvement:
Contribute to documentation, training materials, and process refinement initiatives. - Training & Knowledge Sharing:
Deliver training sessions for legal teams and brief department leadership as requested.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree with relevant experience considered. - Experience:
Proven eDiscovery support experience, ideally in an Am Law 100 firm or equivalent service provider. - Technical Expertise:
Hands‑on experience with leading eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Reveal, etc.) and AI‑powered legal tools. - Production & Processing
Skills:
Expertise with Relativity, Nuix, LAW, and complex document productions. - Analytics Proficiency:
Experience with Relativity Analytics, Brainspace, NexLP for machine learning‑based review and quality control. - Programming & Scripting:
Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, Python, VBA, and scripting languages for data analysis and automation. - Communication & Problem‑Solving:
Ability to convey technical concepts clearly and manage stakeholder expectations under tight timelines. - Project Management:
Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process design; ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy. - Certifications:
Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) preferred;
Brainspace Analyst Certification preferred. - Adaptability:
Proactive, can‑do mindset with flexibility to handle changing priorities and evolving technologies.
