Overview

The Marketplace team is looking for a process‑driven Salesforce Business Analyst to support the continued growth of our marketplace across multiple European markets. You will bridge business teams and Salesforce development squads, translating business needs into actionable user stories and ensuring Salesforce delivers measurable operational and commercial value.

Responsibilities
  • Discovery & Process Mapping: Partner with Sales, Merchant Support and Operations to document current and future processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for optimisation within Salesforce.
  • Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery and refinement workshops to elicit requirements, translating high‑level business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development.
  • Technical Translation: Act as the primary liaison between end users, the Salesforce Product Owner and Architect, ensuring technical solutions stay aligned to business objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Own and manage the Marketplace Salesforce backlog, prioritising work in line with the product roadmap and delivery goals.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Define test plans and lead User Acceptance Testing, ensuring delivered functionality meets requirements and quality standards.
  • Change Management & Roll‑out: Support adoption of new Salesforce capabilities by creating training materials and providing hyper‑care support during go‑live and stabilisation.
  • Operational Insight: Collaborate with data and analytics teams to capture metrics that support Marketplace KPIs, reporting and ongoing optimisation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Salesforce Expertise: Experience as a Business Analyst within the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud). Salesforce certifications (Business Analyst or Administrator) are highly desirable.
  • Marketplace Knowledge: Solid understanding of B2C marketplace operations – merchant onboarding, lead management and seller‑support workflows.
  • Agile Delivery: Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, using tools such as Jira or Azure Dev Ops.

    Languages:

    Excellent written and verbal communication in English; working proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels and negotiate priorities.
  • Analytical Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills to break down complex challenges into actionable steps.
  • Testing & Quality Focus: Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing and attention to detail.
  • Customer‑focused: Constantly improving the customer experience.
