Infrastructure Analyst – Wintel, VMWare, vSphere, Broadcom/EMC SAN, Azure Cloud, Backup & Restore, Disaster Recovery, IT Security, Business Continuity. Permanent, London, (Hybrid 3/2), £85k - £95k +Bonus +Benefits

Infrastructure Analyst required to focus on backup and restore, disaster recovery and security hardening work in both pre-emptive and reactive capacity as part of a wider Wintel Engineering team.

Working collaboratively with both BAU and Project teams within the infrastructure department you will undertake 50/50 mix of project work and reactive BAU work relating to virtualised environments (VMWare, vSphere) and related SAN storage technologies (such as Broadcom, Commvault, EMC etc). Your project work will focus on improving the environment(s) essentially working to strengthen the IT security position and your BAU work will focus on Disaster Recovery during major incidents.

Core responsibilities will include:

• Design, management and enhancement of VMWare vSphere and related SAN infrastructure
• Management of infrastructure utilising HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) tools
• SAN Storage Array management (EMC, Broadcom, Commvault etc)
• Reactive Disaster Recovery Management;
  Backup and Restore
• Automation of tasks utilising Powershell Scripts
• Liaison with Infosec teams to ensure compliance of the infrastructure environment
