About the IT Team: Based primarily at our London office, you'll be reporting to the Group Head of IT Infrastructure and working alongside your peers including those from other office locations. You'll have a full understanding of the support needs of the other office locations to work together with the larger team, but your primary focus will be service of the London office.

Your

day to day:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely technical support to employees, addressing and troubleshooting any hardware, network, printer, telephony and software issues and escalating as required, to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. Performing administration tasks for all IT users including setting up new starters, removing leavers, changing passwords, etc.
  • Installation and Configuration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software systems, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and meet performance standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs and requirements, continuously assessing opportunities for improvement and recommending upgrades to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Technology Trends Monitoring: Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and develop.
  • Working in a rota/on call capacity to ensure IT support coverage over the core business hours.
Who are you:
  • Demonstratable experience in a hands‑on 2nd line IT support role.
  • Windows Server 2022 and Windows 10/11 skills.
  • Microsoft Active Directory (Azure and on‑prem), WSUS and Group Policies.
  • Basic network experience Routers, Switches, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, DMZ, etc.
  • Office 365 administration including One Drive, SharePoint and Intune, including Power Shell knowledge.
  • Experience in IT system administration and providing effective technical support, showcasing proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, encompassing networking, servers, storage, and virtualization. This includes a deep understanding of the underlying components that make up a robust IT environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud computing platforms, indicating a familiarity with cloud‑based technologies and the ability to leverage them for organizational benefit.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues, demonstrating a problem‑solving mindset and the capacity to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
  • Innovative: Seeks out ways over, around, or through barriers to success.
  • Collaborative: Enjoys working one‑on‑one, in small groups, and in public speaking. Fluent, sharp‑witted, command of language. Keeps people informed.

In addition, it would be great if you had:
  • Working knowledge of ITIL and/or ITSM tools.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Networking.
  • Experience of Apple macOS in a business setting.
