Blockchain Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Blockchain Specialist to join our clients growing Web3 and decentralised applications (dApps) team. You will be responsible for designing developing and implementing blockchain-based solutions including smart contracts tokens protocols and DeFi integrations with a strong emphasis on Ethereal Solidity and distributed ledger technologies.

This is a high-impact role working on cutting-edge Fin Tech digital identity and decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystems.

• Design and develop smart contracts using Solidity on Ethereal and compatible blockchains
• Create and deploy dApps including wallets token exchanges and DeFi protocols
• Integrate blockchain technologies with existing platforms and APIs
• Conduct code reviews and perform security audits on smart contracts
• Stay current with Web3 developments blockchain frameworks and governance mechanisms
• Work collaboratively with product teams designers and Dev Ops to deliver scalable solutions
• Write technical documentation for architecture design patterns and deployment practices

• Proficient in Solidity and Ethereum-based development
• Experience with blockchain frameworks like Truffle Hard-hat or Brownie
• Solid understanding of cryptographic principles decentralised networks and consensus algorithms
• Familiarity with blockchain node infrastructure
• Hands-on experience building DeFi NFT or DAO applications
• Version control experience (Git / Git Hub)

Required Skills Deep knowledge of digital payment ecosystems architectures and technologies Expertise in payment gateway integration tokenisation and fraud detection systems Strong understanding of ISO 20022 EMV NFC and 3D Secure protocols Familiarity with cloud-native architecture (AWS GCP or Azure) Ability to document and present technical concepts to stakeholders clearly Desired Skills Experience with real-time payment systems and blockchain-based solutions Hands-on coding experience with Java Python or TOGAF or AWS Solution Architect certification preferred Knowledge of financial data orchestration and embedded finance architectures

• Exposure to Polka-dot Cosmos or Solana ecosystems
• Experience with Layer 2 solutions (Arbitrum Optimism)
• Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs / zk-Rollups)
• Background in Fin Tech or cybersecurity is advantageous
• Familiarity with containerization and CI / CD pipelines
