What will you be doing?

As the Analytics Engineer, you'll be at the center of how data flows across Decentralized Masters. You'll architect and own our Snowflake data warehouse, design automated data pipelines from marketing platforms, CRM systems, and payment tools, and build dashboards that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for our leadership team. This hands‑on role blends data engineering, SQL development, and business intelligence, offering a chance to make a direct impact on company‑wide decision‑making as we scale from $50M to unicorn status.

Key Responsibilities Snowflake Data Warehouse Management
  • Architect and manage our Snowflake environment (schemas, warehouses, users, roles)
  • Design and implement data models using Bronze → Silver → Gold layer architecture
  • Write advanced SQL to transform, clean, and aggregate data from multiple sources
  • Optimize query performance and costs in Snowflake
  • Implement data governance and security best practices
Data Pipeline & Integration Management
  • Configure and maintain ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, or similar) to sync data into Snowflake
  • Connect data sources:
    Hub Spot (CRM/marketing), ad platforms (Meta, Google, Tik Tok), Stripe (payments), and analytics tools
  • Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot data consistency issues, and ensure data freshness
  • Handle schema changes and API updates
Data Modeling and Transformation
  • Design dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables, star schemas)
  • Build standardized business metrics for marketing, sales, and finance
  • Combine, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for consistent business use
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data structures
Business Intelligence and Reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards (Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) that empower business teams with real‑time insights
  • Create executive dashboards for marketing performance, sales funnel, customer analytics, and revenue metrics
  • Define, document, and maintain consistent KPIs across departments
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis to answer critical business questions
Automation and Data Quality
  • Implement automated workflows for reporting and data synchronization
  • Build data quality checks, alerts, and monitoring to maintain reliability
  • Create and maintain documentation for all pipelines, data models, and metrics
Requirements Must‑Have Skills
  • 4–6+ years as Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or BI Developer
  • Expert‑level Snowflake experience (this is the #1 requirement)
  • Advanced SQL proficiency – complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization
