Job DescriptionAn experienced SAP Transition Lead to hand over a multi‑module SAP landscape into Business‑as‑Usual (BAU). The role covers Success Factors (SF), SAP S/4
HANA Finance, SAP Ariba, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), ensuring a controlled transition from project/delivery mode to stable, scalable operational support.
- Define and implement the BAU operating model for SF, S/4
HANA Finance, Ariba, and SAP Cloud ALM, aligned to enterprise ITSM and business needs. - Create and maintain a detailed transition plan and timeline covering cutover, hyper‑care, and knowledge transfer milestones.
- Design runbooks, operational playbooks, support procedures, escalation matrices, and SLA definitions for each solution area.
- Lead end‑to‑end knowledge transfer activities: documentation handover, shadowing, workshops, and competency validation for BAU teams and external service providers.
- Coordinate with project teams, integrators, infrastructure, security, and application support to ensure production readiness (interfaces, jobs, batch schedules, authorizations, transports).
- Implement and configure SAP Cloud ALM to support monitoring, alerting, business process observation, test management, and deployment tracking during hyper‑care and ongoing BAU.
- Manage hyper‑care and stabilization phase: organize rosters, troubleshoot critical incidents, prioritize fixes and migrations to permanent fixes, and ensure smooth SLA achievement.
- Establish governance forums for ongoing issue tracking, release cadence, change control, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure test coverage, cutover rehearsals, and data reconciliation activities are completed prior to go‑live.
Experience leading SAP transitions and BAU operations for Success Factors, SAP S/4
HANA Finance, SAP Ariba, and SAP Cloud ALM. Strong knowledge of ITSM processes, runbooks, SLAs, and hyper‑care. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills. Proven ability to design and implement operating models and governance frameworks.
