Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Delivery Manager to bridge the gap between Product and Platform Teams and the Accessible Programme. In this pivotal role, you will drive system and process changes to improve accessibility in workflows. Your focus will be on technical delivery project management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring process adherence through diligent tracking, negotiating, and reporting. While expertise in accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA is advantageous, strong technical leadership and knowledge of generative AI are key.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Product & Platform teams and the Accessible Programme.
  • Support the planning, design, and implementation of system and workflow changes aligned with accessibility goals.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of updates and enhancements and promote effective knowledge sharing.
  • Track progress against milestones, ensure process adherence, and address risks or blockers early.
  • Facilitate clear, collaborative communication between programme stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on implementation status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with external vendors or third‑party service providers when required.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in technical leadership or architecture roles, ideally within content management.
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their application.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, tracking, reporting, risk identification, mitigation, and escalation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing without authority and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with broader programme goals and timelines.
  • Experience working in matrixed or cross‑functional teams.
  • Knowledge of agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with Smart Sheets, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.

  • Awareness of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Experience in regulated or compliance‑driven environments.
  • Ability to liaise with and manage external vendors and third‑party service providers.
