Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

My client are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join their growing Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with SQL and complex datasets, strong hands‑on expertise with Looker, and solid knowledge of ELT processes. You will play a critical role in shaping data‑driven decisions, collaborating with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to deliver scalable, accurate, and impactful insights.

• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Looker that drive actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze large, intricate datasets
• Partner closely with data engineers to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and optimize ELT pipelines
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and data models
• Develop and maintain data models in Looker (LookML) to ensure reusability and consistency
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and contribute to best practices in BI and data visualization

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to handle complex queries and large datasets
• Proven experience building dashboards and data models in Looker (Not Looker studio or LookML experience required)
• Good understanding of ELT processes and experience working with data engineers on data pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience in a fast‑paced, high growth environment is a plus
