Lead Software Developer; Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

Lead a team of developers to design, develop, test, and release software solutions to support the requirements of the business. Lead the design, development, and contribute to the architectural governance of technology solutions across 7IM of predominately Power Platform & Dynamics 365 . This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

You will guide both development and architecture teams, drive modernisation, and champion technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a skilled, and motivated team capable of delivering software solutions across a broad technology stack
• Design high quality software solutions which meet technical architecture and security standards
• Develop robust and scalable software solutions
• Responsible for the design, configuration, development, deployment, and maintenance of multiple Dynamics and Power Platform technologies in line with the design authorities and agile change forums.
• Act as a technical lead, designing, developing, and implementing Power Platform & Dynamics 365 solutions based on established patterns and best practices.
• Support product owners, managing a backlog of requests for Power Platform & Dynamics 365 changes coming from both Product Managers and internal teams.
• Support the further build out of a low-code capability throughout the organisation to support the growing use of Power Platform and Copilot Studio akin to a center of excellence with appropriate training, governance, and controls.
• Adherence to all applicable compliance standards and best practices at all times.
• Acting consistently in accordance with the 7IM VPVP’s.
• Other, as reasonably required by your line manager and 7IM.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps (Model driven), Power Automate, Power BI) and Dynamics 365 (Sales/Customer Insights/Customer Service).
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior team members
• Experience and a deep understanding of configuring and using Microsoft Dataverse as part of a solution required.
• Experience configuring and deploying Dynamics 365 applications.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops (or similar tools) for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking.
• Hands on experience with design and delivery of enterprise-level Microsoft Business Applications solutions.

• SQL, C# skills are advantageous.
