We provide a broad range of professional services including Restructuring, Transaction Advisory, Performance Improvement, Corporate Transformation, Financial Institutions Advisory, Tax, Valuations, and Disputes and Investigation Services.

Our Business Technology Performance Improvement team works with Private Equity funds, corporates and financial services clients across Europe to:

• Realign the performance of the technology/IT function through operational restructuring to directly improve earnings and cash flow within the business
• Carry out effective technology and product due diligence pre‑deal and provide necessary post‑deal services such as Post Merger Integration, Separation, Carve‑Out, and 100‑day planning
• Shape and deliver enterprise‑wide systems and online programmes to deliver performance improvement via business transformation and/or cost‑reduction programmes
• Manage and develop technology (ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence assets and systems) to meet strategic and operational business requirements, including development of KPIs and dashboards for better visibility
• Design and implement Digital Transformation initiatives in Data Science and Analytics, Digital Workforce and Artificial Intelligence
• Take interim management positions such as CIO, CTO, IT Director, Program Manager, etc., depending on experience

Reason for the opportunity
Against a backdrop of unprecedented growth and promotions, an opportunity exists for us to strengthen our Business Technology team in London at the Senior Associate level. The successful appointee will play a key part in both project delivery and continued business development.

They will be responsible for supporting clients to successfully deliver major projects in areas such as pre‑deal due diligence, post‑deal integration and carve‑outs, strategic IT planning, product technology, enterprise architecture, business intelligence, target operating model design, customer management platforms, IT transformation programmes, enterprise resource planning, IT supplier performance management, global IT sourcing, business process outsourcing and digital disruption.

The Senior Associate will be experienced in addressing business‑critical issues and will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M: a business‑savvy, outcome‑focused entrepreneur committed to making an impact, responsible for making a difference and not afraid to challenge the status‑quo.

Candidates will have a proven understanding and passion for advisory and will possess the following skill set:

• A consulting toolkit including framing business issues, judiciously using internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, developing business models using Excel and structuring and writing PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports
• The ability to work collaboratively as a core member of the team, reviewing a client’s immediate and future issues and market position to develop actionable options for strategic and performance improvement (e.g., target operating model design, IT transformation programmes, enterprise architecture and strategic cost reduction)
• The knowledge and skills to develop and implement commercial and cost‑effective solutions across IT supplier performance management, global IT sourcing and business process outsourcing
• An understanding of digital technologies including Big Data & Predictive Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and customer experience & omni‑channel communication
• Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace and an appreciation of the challenges that businesses face in today’s market

Specifically, the successful candidate will have:

• A successful track record in IT/Technology performance improvement at a top‑tier strategy or advisory firm
