Head of Implementation overview

The Head of Implementation will play a pivotal role in embedding Firenze’s Lombard lending solution across wealth platforms, custodians, and adviser firms.

This individual will own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for new partners — from post-signature through to live lending and adviser rollout — ensuring that data, controls, integrations, and operational processes are implemented to a consistently high standard. The individual will also take ownership of making Firenze’s SaaS technology available to enterprise partners.

As Firenze continues to deepen integrations into adviser toolkits and platforms, this role will be central to shaping how our technology and workflows are embedded into client operating models, driving adoption, efficiency, and high-quality client outcomes.

London, with hybrid working. The successful candidate would be required to travel within the UK where our partners are based.

• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, operating processes, technology stack, and strategic objectives.
• Own the delivery of new platform, custodian, and adviser firm implementations from contract signature through to go-live.
• Act as Firenze’s primary implementation lead working closely with Firenze’s operations, technology, risk, and compliance teams.
• Own the enterprise rollout of Firenze’s SaaS platform, coordinating deployment, access, controls, and integrations to ensure the technology is production‑ready and scalable for institutional partners.
• Ensure platform functionality is embedded effectively into client workflows to drive operational efficiency and enhance adviser and client service delivery.

• Ensure robust data feeds (API / SFTP) for portfolio valuations, holdings, and monitoring are implemented, tested, and maintained.
• Oversee the implementation of key operational controls, including withdrawal restrictions, approval workflows, and letters of authority.
• Work closely with Risk & Compliance to ensure implementations meet internal policy, FCA requirements, and governance standards, and to embed good client outcomes from day one.

• Play a crucial role in delivering technical integrations as Firenze becomes more embedded within adviser and platform toolkits.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver integrations with platforms, CRMs, and adviser systems.
• Translate client, adviser, and operational requirements into clear implementation and integration specifications.

• Maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of the Firenze platform and proposition.
• Share insights and learnings with internal stakeholders across Product, Credit, Risk, and Commercial teams.
• Capture structured client feedback and contribute to platform development, proposition enhancements, and implementation best practice.
• Build repeatable implementation playbooks, documentation, and delivery frameworks to support scale.

• 5+ years’ experience in implementation, operations, or delivery, within financial services, fintech, wealth management, or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders across platforms, advisers, and wealth management firms.
