About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Product Manager to join our team in Chiswick, West London. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process of transforming external data acquisitions into valuable, user-friendly visualizations on our digital products. This role will be pivotal in driving the success of International SOS data products by ensuring seamless integration, insightful analytics, and compelling visual presentations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Product Manger, preferably with previous experience in the travel industry, looking to for an opportunity to make an impact.
Key responsibilities External Data Acquisition :- Identify and evaluate potential external data sources to enhance our product offerings.
- Negotiate and manage partnerships with data providers to secure high-quality data.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during acquisition.
- Oversee the integration of external data into our internal systems.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
- Develop commercial roadmap for monetizing our travel, HR, asset and information & analysis data.
- Build value proposition for our data / relationships with partners to understand our value.
- Lead the commercialization of our Information & analysis content services features.
- Lead a team of data analysts to extract actionable insights from acquired data.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Work closely with UX / UI designers to create intuitive and engaging data visualizations.
- Ensure visualizations effectively communicate insights and support decision-making.
- Continuously improve visualization techniques based on user feedback and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize the value of data products.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote data products to target audiences.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform product development and positioning.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data product management, data analytics, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of data acquisition, integration, and visualization techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- High-quality communication skills.
- Team player with cultural sensitivity, able to work in a global team.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and operating protocols.
