We are currently recruiting for an experienced SOC Manager to support a prestigious multinational client during a key SIEM platform transition. Working closely with both NETbuilder and client stakeholders, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day effectiveness, maturity, and continuous improvement of the Security Operations Centre.
What You’ll Do- Manage the day‑to‑ response to security alerts
- Act as the escalation point for SOC analysts and coordinate incidents with the Incident Response Manager when required
- Own and continuously improve SOC processes, procedures, and operational playbooks
- Oversee and refine threat detection use cases, alerts, and correlation rules within the SIEM platform
- Guide and support threat analysis and proactive threat‑hunting activities
- Ensure risks such as misconfigurations, visibility gaps, and IT sprawl are identified and addressed
- Drive continuous improvement of SOC tooling, workflows, and analyst capability
- Produce clear, concise operational reports and metrics for senior security stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of SOC Analysts, fostering a strong performance and learning culture
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders across security and IT initiatives
- Proven experience managing or leading a Security Operations Centre in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of SOC operations, threat detection, alert triage, and security monitoring best practices
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms and modern SOC tooling
- Confident people manager with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop analysts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational maturity
- Familiarity with ITIL‑based service management, GDPR, and regulatory compliance
- Experience using JIRA or similar ticketing and incident management tools
