The VP of Technology Programs (Chief of Staff) will drive strategic technology initiatives, foster innovation, and advance the organization’s technological capabilities while serving as Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The role will participate in or lead the execution of various programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing impact.

Expected effort distribution:

• 50% Chief of Staff responsibilities
• 30% support to the CTO and technology leadership on new technologies and partnerships
• 20% special projects not covered by existing structures

• Act as trusted advisor to the CTO, ensuring effective prioritization and execution of strategic objectives.
• Provide executive-level reporting and presentations for board meetings and stakeholders.
• Enable the CTO to focus on key priorities by managing operational workflows and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Oversee and streamline administration of the CTO Office.
• Represent the CTO in key discussions, ensuring alignment and decision‑making continuity.
• Lead identification of innovative technologies to support long‑term goals.

• Strategic support for adopting and integrating new technologies aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate development and execution of technology strategies and partnerships.
• Manage oversight of cross‑organizational initiatives or programs outside existing departments.
• Deliver high‑quality analysis, reports and presentations to inform executive decision‑making.
• Drive special projects and initiatives within scope and quality standards.

• Primary point of contact between Liberty Tech and other parts of Liberty Global, and external stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and partners to ensure seamless collaboration.

• Build and lead a high‑performing team that delivers innovative technology.
• Bridge technical teams and business leaders for clear objective alignment.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Mentor direct reports and promote a high‑performing leadership team.

• Degree in Technology, Business or related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Extensive senior technology leadership experience, preferably in telecommunications or TMT.
• Proven track record managing high‑performing teams and complex cross‑functional projects.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and program management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
