About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary agile team, working closely with engineers, technical leads, and product and delivery managers. The role focuses on providing robust testing and quality assurance support across projects and products, ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to test strategy development, improve existing QA processes, and work on both manual and automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to define and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Execute manual and automated tests for project and product deliverables to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and enhance test scripts, frameworks, equipment, and configurations for both manual and automated testing.
  • Provide training and support to engineers to ensure adoption and sustainability of QA practices.
  • Monitor, track, and report test progress and results clearly to stakeholders, supporting ‘go/no-go’ project decisions.
  • Suggest improvements to current QA processes, tools, and test automation approaches.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial software QA experience, including designing, building, and using test automation systems and frameworks.

  • Technical

    Skills:

    • Proficient with Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux as test platforms.
    • Experience developing scripts for testing (Python preferred; other languages acceptable).
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.

  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
    • Collaborative mindset; comfortable working in agile development environments.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute testing tasks efficiently across different stages of development.
Desirable Attributes
  • Experience working within agile teams to create comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases.
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues found during testing.
  • Proven track record of contributing to process improvements and QA function enhancements.
