At Veeam, Managers, Systems Engineer work closely with the management team and the sales teams, and manage our systems engineers in their region to support the companies sales objectives in the areas of resource allocation, training, career growth, day to day support, and the development of the pre-sales team.
Your also working closely with our biggest customers and partners, to enable them and to help them in case of big opportunities or escalations.
The SE team is located in the United Kingdom and you’ll be reporting to the regional presales director.
What You’ll DoThe primary job function will be to manage technical resources across a wide geographic area and will include the following:
- Day to day team management
- Supporting Sales at key Large Enterprises
- Active participation to key marketing events
- Hiring of System Engineers within the region
- Coordinate Resource Allocation
- Reporting and tracking of pre-sales activities
- Adapting SE competencies and organization to the sales strategy
- Technical team management experience
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the data protection markets both in cloud and at Enterprise Level customers.
- Experience with basic infrastructure concepts, like virtualization, networking, high-availability, cloud-native
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Understanding requirements of an indirect sales model with a direct touch approach
- Deliver regular pre-sales support to regional salesforce
- Providing regular technical training to the entire sales team.
