As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets using multiple data sources, enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities Report Development & Maintenance- Create new Power BI reports and dashboards and enhance the existing suite to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure reports are accurate, intuitive, and aligned with finance and wider business requirements.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver comprehensive and insightful reporting solutions.
- Support the creation and ongoing management of Datamarts and Lake houses
, ensuring the finance team and other users have access to reliable data for analysis and reporting. - Work closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration, strong data quality, and efficient data pipelines.
- Optimise the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation covering report development processes, data sources, and data models.
- Customer Focus – Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met, with stakeholder expectations managed effectively.
- Working with Others – Contribute positively to team objectives, share knowledge openly, and build effective working relationships across disciplines and functions.
- Quality Conscious – Apply key business objectives to all development activities and deliver high-quality design and specification documentation.
- Drive and Tenacity – Demonstrate a positive attitude, respond well to change, and consistently work towards achieving business goals.
- Proven proficiency in Power BI report and dataset development
- Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query
- Experience with data modelling tools and techniques
- Good understanding of data visualisation best practices
- Experience working within Agile teams

- Experience working within a large retail organization
- Experience working with multiple data sources
- Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies
