Power Bi Developer

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets using multiple data sources, enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Create new Power BI reports and dashboards and enhance the existing suite to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure reports are accurate, intuitive, and aligned with finance and wider business requirements.

• Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver comprehensive and insightful reporting solutions.

• Support the creation and ongoing management of Datamarts and Lake houses
  , ensuring the finance team and other users have access to reliable data for analysis and reporting.
• Work closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure seamless data integration, strong data quality, and efficient data pipelines.

• Optimise the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.

• Maintain clear and thorough documentation covering report development processes, data sources, and data models.

• Customer Focus – Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met, with stakeholder expectations managed effectively.

• Proven proficiency in Power BI report and dataset development
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query
• Experience with data modelling tools and techniques
• Good understanding of data visualisation best practices

• Experience working within a large retail organization
• Experience working with multiple data sources
• Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
