Aboutthe Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Manager to join our team in London, operating in a hybrid work environment. This standalone role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee all aspects of payroll, benefits, and global mobility operations across multiple regions including the US, Asia, and Europe. The successful candidate will administer the company's total reward strategy, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support the Group HR strategy to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, administering employee benefits, and contributing to international mobility initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual with strong process improvement skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Qualifications- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within an international or multi-region setting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and social security compliance across different jurisdictions.
- Experience with benefits administration and employee compensation programs.
- Excellent understanding of global mobility operations, including international assignments and relocations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HR information systems.
- Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in payroll or HR management are desirable.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for multiple regions including UK, USA, Denmark, Luxembourg, GRC, and Singapore. This includes payroll preparation, processing, and monthly validation using outsourced providers.
- Ensure all payroll activities comply with relevant tax and social security regulations, including processing taxable benefits and reporting.
- Coordinate payroll disbursements to ensure timely and accurate salary payments to employees across all regions.
- Maintain compliance with tax year-end obligations and prepare necessary documentation and reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries and liaise with outsourced payroll providers to resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to standardize and streamline payroll processes, driving efficiency and accuracy.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the main contact for employee and vendor benefit-related inquiries, providing timely support and guidance.
- Maintain and update employee benefit data across various HR platforms and systems.
- Manage employee communications related to benefits, including announcements and updates on policy changes.
- Support global mobility initiatives by coordinating international assignments, relocations, and related compliance activities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve payroll and benefits processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
