Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on the HR system.
  • Process employee changes including promotions, contract changes, and leavers.
  • Support employees and managers with basic HR system queries and escalate complex issues where appropriate
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including issuing contracts, scheduling inductions, and preparing new starter documentation.
  • Conduct Right to Work checks in line with legal requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries related to HR processes.
  • Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation, and system updates.
  • Track probation periods and prepare probation outcome letters and contract amendments for review and approval.
  • Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle, including scheduling, reminders, and tracking completion.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a HR Assistant or similar HR support role.
  • Exposure to core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, and HR administration.
  • Experience maintaining accurate employee records within a HRIS.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing with employees and managers.
