Junior HR Specialist

Overview

TORQCOMMODITIES is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience by managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and a proactive approach to supporting our talent management initiatives.

• Manage the recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
• Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support employee engagement initiatives and organize training programs
• Maintain employee records, databases, and HR documentation
• Handle employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and policies in a timely manner
• Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback systems
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Provide support for HR projects and initiatives as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a fast-paced or commodities environment
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
