Learning & Development Specialist

Full‑time | Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week
Travel:
National travel required (blended virtual + face‑to‑face delivery)
Reporting into a Senior L&D Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering and continuously improving onboarding, induction and core learning programmes. You’ll design and facilitate engaging learning experiences (virtual and in‑person) that help colleagues build capability and demonstrate company values from the start.
Key responsibilities- Deliver weekly induction and welcome webinars for new starters
- Facilitate the first 3‑month onboarding journey for new colleagues
- Design and enhance engaging virtual and in‑person training using available tech
- Deliver training across induction, onboarding, sales, service and customer experience
- Maintain accurate, compliant, up‑to‑date onboarding/induction materials
- Partner with hiring managers to support smooth onboarding in role
- Provide coaching, feedback and follow‑up support to embed learning in the workplace
- Manage your diary, travel and course prep proactively (No line management responsibility in this position.)
- Proven experience delivering online and face‑to‑face onboarding/induction programmes
- Confident facilitator comfortable with high‑volume new starter training
- Strong understanding of learning design principles and Learning Needs Analysis
- Passionate about people development and creating an inclusive learning environment
- Excellent stakeholder management – able to build relationships across a national business
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
- Confident using technology to deliver blended learning
- Willing to travel nationally as required
