Seeking a Payroll Lead for an initial 3‑month contract within an Industrial Machinery Manufacturing company based in London. This is a critical role within our finance and operations function, responsible for overseeing and managing payroll processes across multiple international regions.

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end payroll operations across multiple countries.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Maintain and update payroll systems and documentation.
• Resolve payroll‑related queries and issues efficiently.
• Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide strategic input on payroll policies and procedures.

• Proven experience in managing international payroll operations.
• Strong understanding of global payroll compliance and legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, etc.).
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
