Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Fin Tech

The Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be trained to operate as a full 360 consultant in a high-value, candidate-short market.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mapping and researching niche Fin Tech and technology markets
  • Identifying, approaching and qualifying high-calibre candidates
  • Building long-term relationships with candidates and clients
  • Managing interview processes from first contact through to offer stage
  • Supporting senior consultants on live mandates with Tier 1 clients
  • Learning how to develop new business and manage client accounts
  • Negotiating salaries, fees and offers
  • Building a personal market and reputation within your niche

From day one, you’ll be exposed to the commercial side of recruitment - not just admin or resourcing.

Training & Development

You’ll go through a structured rotation training programme, working alongside some of the top billers in the business. You’ll learn:

  • Different recruitment styles and techniques
  • How top consultants manage clients and candidates
  • How to develop your own desk and personal brand

This is hands-on, desk-side training designed to fast-track you to billing and promotion.
