Position: HR Payroll Executive (Construction)
Location: Greater London

Our client is a well‑established Singapore‑based A1 main construction and engineering group with a strong track record in delivering high‑quality building, civil engineering, and integrated construction solutions. With decades of industry experience, the company has been involved in a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Handle monthly payroll processing for staff and site workers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
  • Collate, verify and process payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and leave records from HR and project teams
  • Manage payroll for a large headcount (>500) across multiple project sites
    , meeting tight payroll deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips, payroll receipts, and management summaries as required
  • Ensure timely submission and payment of statutory contributions including CPF, SDL, SHG, and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date payroll records in HRMS / payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Review payroll calculations, identify discrepancies, and resolve payroll‑related queries from employees and internal stakeholders promptly
  • Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, and project teams to ensure accurate data flow and smooth payroll operations
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and internal checks
    , liaising with Finance where required
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with MOM regulations
    , payroll governance standards, and internal confidentiality policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and documentation
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project‑based environments
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll legislation, including CPF, MOM regulations, and tax requirements
  • Hands‑on experience with HRMS / payroll systems (e.g.
    HRiQ
    )
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage tight payroll deadlines and handle multiple payroll cycles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
