Aboutthe role
atis is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to play a key role in shaping how people experience working here. This is a people generalist role with a strong focus on recruitment for site management and HQ, alongside exposure to the full breadth of a growing People function.
You’ll work closely with the Head of People, Culture & Experience and teams across the business, balancing day-to-day people operations with exciting, future-focused projects — from launching employer brand initiatives like careers page video and photography content, to building strong pipelines, engagement initiatives and manager development programmes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, pace and ownership, and who genuinely cares about building a great place to work.
FocusPeople operations, recruitment and engagement. You’ll help ensure our people processes, systems and experiences are consistent, compliant and aligned with the atis culture and values as we continue to grow.
Core roleYou’ll support and deliver across multiple areas of the People function, with a primary focus on recruitment and talent, while contributing to engagement, HR operations, audits, training and people projects. You’ll help translate our values into meaningful, well-executed people experiences across the business.
Typical work includesRecruitment & Talent
- End-to-end recruitment for Site Management and HQ roles
- Building and maintaining strong talent pipelines
- Supporting pipeline and succession planning across key roles
- Partnering with hiring managers to deliver a high-quality candidate experience
- Supporting employer branding initiatives, including careers page recruitment video and photography content
People Operations
- Managing the HRIS system, including employee updates, requests and administrative queries
- Supporting quarterly HR audits, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining people data, documentation and reporting to a high standard
Engagement & Culture
- Creating and coordinating the monthly company newsletter
- Supporting and delivering site-level and company-wide events
- Helping bring engagement initiatives to life across the business
Learning, Development & Onboarding
- Supporting training and onboarding plans for new managers
- Coordinating onboarding experiences that set people up for success
- Assisting with learning and development initiatives as the business grows
Projects
- Supporting and leading People projects from planning through to delivery
- Identifying opportunities to improve people processes, systems and ways of working
- Contributing to larger initiatives that shape the future of the People function
- Experience in a People / HR / Recruitment / People Operations role
- Comfortable working in a people generalist capacity
- Experience managing or working with an HRIS system
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including site management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, people-first culture
