• The Sweeties Host is the first and last point of contact — meeting guests on arrival, escorting them to their tables, managing reservations and guest lists, providing information and cloakroom services, and overseeing and enhancing guest experience.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of personality and theatre to guests, making them feel welcome while visiting The Standard and our energetic and vibrant city.
• Be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure; thrive in a busy high‑volume, high‑energy environment; manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.
• Be passionate about service, well organized, with strong knowledge of managing reservations, bar operations and order of service, and guest experience. Prior experience in a high‑volume venue is important.
• Demonstrate a natural flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests; prior experience as a Host is essential.

• Prior experience as a Host or Receptionist, ideally in a busy bar, ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel or restaurant & bar pop‑up.
• Confident managing reservations and guest experience with a natural flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests.
• Highly social, motivated and pro‑active; professional and positive in all interactions.
• Prior experience using Seven Rooms and POS is a plus.
• Diverse range of lifestyle skills; applications from those in the arts, music and entertainment industries are welcome.
