Hospitality Assistant

Searcys are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at 41 Portland Place.

As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our guests and clients ated close to Oxford Street, 41 Portland Place is a newly refurbished venue with a suite of period rooms providing an elegant backdrop to any event.

The Hospitality Assistant will support and monitor food and beverage service to customers/clients/guests, assist with clearing during events, and contribute to room set up as required.

The Hospitality Assistant will be supporting, monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests and clearing throughout the event, with a strong emphasis on moving furniture and room set up involvement.

Job Type: 0 hours Contract

Salary: £13.85 hourly

• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner
• Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks
• Serve guests with a genuine and positive demeanour; ensure service is efficient and of high quality
• Work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages
• Assist with deliveries as required
• Prepare hospitality requirements ensuring items are available; report shortages to your line manager
• Ensure linen and equipment hired for an event are counted and packed away for collection after the event

• Barista and mixology experience (desirable)
