This position can either be based at Hyatt Hotels Manchester or Hyatt Hotels London, Stratford.

The role

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue for all aspects of the business and for maximizing profitability for both Hyatt Regency, Hyatt House Manchester and Hyatt Regency London Stratford & Hyatt House London Stratford.

The role involves managing a list of accounts as well as developing new accounts & business across all markets focusing on Entertainment and long stay.

Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with all customers to provide profitable and efficient account management.
  • Use reports, local knowledge, competitive analysis and networking skills to find new opportunities for the hotel.
  • Attract revenue in line with our business strategy and budget.
  • Implement agreed Sales Action Plans related to their market areas.
  • To follow up on all potential sales leads.
  • Carefully plan sales calls into defined objectives.
  • Conducts extensive competitor researches and maintains excellent product knowledge of the hotels.
  • To produce and submit a monthly activity report and market conditions in relation to your account portfolio.
  • To host and assist in client entertainment, familiarisation trips and Commercial department activities
  • To carry out any other reasonable tasks that may be required from time to time.
  • About you:

    Ideally you have already gained work experience and in depth knowledge of Manchester & London in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment.
