Experienced Waiter

Overview

We are currently recruiting a professional and confident waiter or waitress to join the whisky and cigar department of a prestigious hotel in Central London.

Full-time, Term-Perm – weekly rota

• Providing attentive and knowledgeable table service within the whisky and cigar lounge
• Making recommendations and using product knowledge with a calm, polished approach
• Maintaining high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction
• Serving guests in the whisky and cigar lounge with professionalism and attention to detail
• Advising guests on whisky and cigar selections, including pairings and flavour profiles
• Ensuring the lounge is presented to a high standard throughout service
• Handling orders, payments and guest enquiries confidently
• Working to weekly rota schedules and supporting the wider hospitality team when required

• Very good spoken English is essential, with confidence in communicating with international guests
• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hotel, bar or luxury hospitality environment
• Good knowledge of whisky and cigars, or strong proven interest with the ability to speak about products
• Professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Reliability, flexibility and a positive approach to shift work

• This is a term-to-permanent role, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract after 10 weeks for the right candidate
• 40 hours per week & weekly rota-based shifts
• Central London location
