You must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Required documentation will be needed as part of the recruitment process.
Contract – Full Time 169 hours/month
- Prior experience in basic cooking methods such as cutting ingredients, grilling, frying and preparing various dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness standards.
- Prepare food items as per standard recipe cards while maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage.
- Apply necessary precautions with respect to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area, focusing on cross-contamination.
- Versatile in the kitchen, with experience supporting both culinary and kitchen porter duties.
- Be well-versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
- Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Comfortable with early morning and evening shifts.
- Flexible to work any five days between Monday and Sunday.
- Knowledge in the culinary department is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Teamwork.
- Timekeeping.
