As a Food & Beverage Bar Steward at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you will be an integral part of a team delivering world-class hospitality in a unique, luxury setting. You will provide exceptional food and beverage service ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience. • Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Serving pre‑lunch and dinner drinks, canapés, afternoon tea beverages, and ‘welcome back' drinks when guests return from off-board excursions.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and well‑stocked bar area, including washing glassware and bar equipment.
• Preparing bar mise en place and ensuring all supplies are ready for service.
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations about drinks, wine pairings and the offerings available onboard.
• Assisting with general onboard hospitality duties, including greeting guests and supporting operational departments as required.

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role as a bartender or bar person, ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and wine service.
• Hospitality qualification an advantage.
• Understanding of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑end hospitality environment.
