As our next Receptionist you will be the face of IBIS London City Shoreditch, extending a warm welcome to our guests and putting their well‑being at the heart of everything you do.
- Be present and visible in the lobby, contributing to guests’ sense of well‑being and loyalty by establishing a warm and personalized relationship.
- Provide a memorable hello and goodbye for guests to make them feel welcomed.
- Prioritise guest relations while adhering to administrative procedures.
- Create memorable moments (sparkles) for our guests.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, handle their requests for information, and connect them with the appropriate people.
- Assist the Food and Beverage team by jumping across to the bar when required.
- Prior experience with Opera Cloud or a related system is preferable but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent customer‑service skills.
- Positive problem‑solving approach.
- Good time‑keeping.
- Organised.
- Multi‑tasking ability.
- Able to work under pressure.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a current work visa. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required as part of the recruitment process.
To help you navigate your role, you will receive training in all front‑of‑house functions and safety procedures for the property and its guests.
