Responsible for day to day supervision, preparation and service of Pastry and Bakery in your section, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times to the standards required by the hotel. To ensure that strict hygiene controls are kept in all Kitchen areas when under his supervision.

• Desirable to have some working knowledge of a hotel pastry kitchen but not essential
• Must be enthusiastic
• Basic pastry knowledge and skills are an asset but not essential
• Must work well with the team
• Some formal training is desired but not essential
• Food Hygiene Certificate, Food Safety Level 2
• Competition certificate or awards for cooking
• Good grasp of the English language
• Artistic abilities
• Articulate and imaginative
• A flexible attitude to working hours
• Good Team Player
• Interest in Food and the industry
