Job Summary To provide an efficient and timely portering service to theatre and Departments as required and to meet the needs of Patients, Staff, etc.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be fully physically fit and able to run to incidents. You need to have a good understanding of and an ability to communicate in English. You will need a good basic knowledge of IT such as Microsoft Outlook, and the use of databases.
About UsSt George's Hospital operating theatres in Tooting is seeking suitably experienced individuals to fill porter posts in its 24/7 portering service. You will need to have an understanding of the special character of an NHS portering service which is to care for patients and visitors often in pain or distress. Qualifications and Training
- An understanding of, and an ability to communicate in English
- GCSEs or equivalent experience
