Are you a Band 5 dietitian looking to expand your expertise in acute medical and neurological services? We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative Dietitian who value teamwork and are dedicated to ensuring patients receive timely assessment and compassionate care. If you are eager to enhance your clinical and service development skills in this field of Dietetics this will be a great opportunity.
Responsibilities- Manage your own clinical caseload across the areas covered by the team: medical and neurological wards.
- Supervise dietetic students as required.
- Collaborate closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team and develop skills in service development, audit, and clinical knowledge.
- Contribute to education for the MDT, patients and families, and support student placements.
- Participate in Quality Improvement projects and undertake and present evidence-based projects, contributing to self-led professional development and demonstrating the outcomes of your work.
- Take an active role in current projects, including service development and evaluation; internal and external training; audit and research review.
- Work in a rewarding and challenging clinical environment with emphasis on ongoing supervision, appraisal, and leadership development.
The successful candidate will join an established Therapy Team of Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers, supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist and a Professional Lead Dietitian.
