Overview
The Radiology department is looking for an MDT Coordinator to join a skilled administrative team. The post holder will support clinical services within radiology by managing daily demand and effectively prioritising incoming referrals into urgent and non-urgent streams.
Responsibilities- Operationally act as Radiology MDT Coordinator, managing 2WW ring-fenced slots for cancer pathway patients.
- Attend MDT, PTL and other meetings as required; take live minutes and track cancer patients through their pathway.
- liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data is processed timely and accurately.
- Support tumour site patient tracking meetings by preparing patient tracking lists, capturing actions, and following up progress via escalation protocols.
- Provide cross-cover for MDT meetings, which may require travel across sites.
- Assertive, confident, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for data quality.
- Comprehensive understanding of MRI, CT, Ultrasound modalities.
- Experience with clinical systems such as Cerner, Soliton, IEP and Somerset (essential).
