We are looking for x2 Premise Cleaning Operative to carry out weekday cleaning duties at
- Westminster Ambulance Station, Monday - Friday,
- Waterloo London Ambulance Headquarters, Monday - Friday,
You will be delivering a cleaning service in accordance to work schedules and in line with Trust Policy and infection control policies.
Main duties of the job- To be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- Delivering a cleaning service in accordance to work schedules and in line with Trust policy.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout area of responsibility.
- Replenish consumables, empty bins and use approved cleaning equipment and materials.
- Maintenance and stock control of cleaning equipment and materials, report to station administrator or supervisor when stocks are required.

London Ambulance Service serves one of the worlds most dynamic and diverse cities and is the busiest ambulance service in the UK. We handle over 1.9 million emergency calls from across the capital every year as well as delivering a 24 hour NHS 111 Integrated Urgent Care Service in South East and North East London that we estimate will respond to around 1.4million urgent care calls by the end of the year.
We employ over 8,000 people who work or volunteer, across London to respond to the health needs of over 8 million people who live, work and travel in the capital.
We work closely with our NHS partners and are commissioned by 32 clinical commissioning groups spread across 5 STPs and NHS England for our specialist services.

Person Specification Experience- Previous experience working within a cleaning environment, regularly dealing with waste, smells and dirt.
- Previous experience of working with domestic services, other hotel services or health care
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Ability to apply a systematic approach when tackling problems and finding solutions
