Radiology Department Assistant
About UsWe have vacancies for Radiology Department Assistants to join the team at the newly developed Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and at the Ealing Hospital Acute Site.
The Radiology Department provides imaging for the whole hospital including the inpatients, outpatients, and referred patients from GPs.
We are looking for someone who can work under pressure, assist radiologists and sonographers undertaking diagnostic examinations, provide patient care while maintaining a safe and clean environment, and support a high‑quality clerical and clinical service as required.

Key Responsibilities- Work as part of the radiology‑based team, maintaining good professional relationships with patients, departments, and Trust staff.
- Perform I/V cannulation.
- Assist radiologists, sonographers and radiographers with checking patient details, preparing patients, and managing attendances on the RIS system.
- Answer any questions patients may have after the examination and take advice from a sonographer, radiographer or radiologist when necessary.
