Job overviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Support Manager to join our team in Adult Autism Service.
This role will support providing an effective business/administration and performance support to the service. This will include providing a safe, high-quality service is available to adults referred onto the Adult Autism pathway; developing and delivering a comprehensive specialist service that is adult-centred; pro-actively resolving day-to-day A&C management.
The role will provide line management to a team of administrative staff.
This successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as working within a team.
Main duties of the job- Assist and support the Operational and clinical Lead in the smooth running of the service whilst pro-actively resolving day-to-day A&C management issues within the Service.
- Assist in collating, delivering, and reporting monthly internal and external service KPI’s.
- Data collection and analysis in relation to patient data flow on the Adult Autism pathway. Backlog/waiting lists from review of patient data on RiO to measure and monitor trends in backlog/waiting lists.
- Provide expertise in data collection, extraction, processing, and interpretation.
- Assist in the implementation of effective processes and procedures to monitor and track performance within the Service. To support clinicians in resolving issues where agreed performance is not being met.
- Ensure proactive management of patient pathway issues
- Support with compliance, accuracy and maintenance of both local service data systems and the service’s performance with the Trust wide information system such as Rio.
- Produce weekly patient tracking list (PTL) and RTA reports for Head of Service
- Ensure patients are booked for diagnostic assessments 6 weeks in advance, ensuring all available clinic slots are utilised.
- Produce weekly clinic utilization report with narrative

High Cost Area Supplement - Outer LondonThis post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941 - per annum, pro rata for part time).
