Job Summary
Are you organised, compassionate, and keen to make a difference in supporting vulnerable patients? The Alcohol Liaison Team at Newham General Hospital is seeking a motivated and efficient Band 4 Coordinator to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary service. In this key administrative and coordination role, you will support the smooth running of the team by managing referrals, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with clinical staff and external partners.
You'll play a crucial part in helping patients access the right care at the right time.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications
- A-Levels or equivalent
Essential Knowledge
- Knowledge of current and emerging policies and strategies relating to alcohol care standards
- Awareness of how to identify and reduce risks of alcohol related harm
- A good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Power Point
Desirable
- Understanding of the purpose of hospital-based alcohol care treatment
Essential Skills
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- High attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders (healthcare professionals, managers and external agencies)
- Organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
