Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to work within the LNWH Pharmacy Homecare team. The role primarily focuses on processing Homecare medicine invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments.
Responsibilities- Process and validate homecare invoicing, ensuring they align with purchase orders and contractual agreements.
- Assist on reconciling supplier statements and preparing reports on invoicing activities.
- Support the Homecare team with administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain regular working relationships with all pharmacy Homecare, purchasing and distribution staff.
- Routinely process complex invoicing information from Homecare providers and update the pharmacy CMM system appropriately.
- Communicate regularly with Homecare providers on invoice queries and pricing disputes.
- Ensure medicines supplied to patients via Homecare providers are supplied at the correct contract price using the CMM pharmacy system and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency s electronic catalogue as references.
- Update and maintain internal data logs regarding daily invoice workload.
- Identify invoicing errors and arrange for a credit note to be issued by the Homecare providers.
- Prepare and collate financial management data, including reconciliation and balances.
- Communicate regularly with the Finance Department on pharmacy invoicing issues.
- Deal with frequent and varied queries both in person and by telephone.
- Communicate with the Pharmacy procurement team on stock pricing issues.
