Responsibilities- Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide clinical care, preventive treatment, and outreach services across multiple sites.

- Deliver routine and preventive care, support outreach services, and manage treatment under sedation or general anaesthetic where required.
- Collaborate with dental nurses, therapists, consultants, and external partners to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
- Contribute to service improvement through clinical governance, audit and peer review.

- Experience or strong interest in Special Care and Paediatric Dentistry
- Valid driving licence and access to a car

About the serviceWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Officer to join our dynamic Community Dental Service. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to children and adults with additional needs, including those with learning disabilities, complex medical conditions, and social vulnerabilities such as homelessness or being in care. Working across our clinics in Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley, you will play a key role in delivering routine and preventive care, supporting outreach services, and managing treatment under sedation or general anaesthetic where required.
You will also work closely with dental nurses, therapists, consultants, and external partners to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
As part of our team, you ll be supported in developing your clinical skills and contributing to service improvement through clinical governance, audit and peer review.
