Overview
The Rheumatology department is advertising for aReceptionist to support the smooth running of the busy Rheumatology Outpatients Department. The post holder will deliver a high-quality reception and support service, with responsibility for patient liaison, appointment bookings, and real-time data entry into the Patient Administration System (PAS).
Main duties of the job- Be the first point of contact for appointment bookings and liaise with clinicians as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into PAS, adhering to real-time data entry principles.
- Provide support and cover for the waiting list coordinator in managing bookings for the Rheumatology Day Unit.
