Overview
The aim of this post is to support ongoing research in the interventional cardiology department focusing on regenerative medicine and interventional research, with a view to submitting an MD (Res)/PhD. Barts Heart Centre is internationally renowned for cardiovascular research and the candidate will complete an MD (Res)/PhD through the affiliated Queen Mary University of London. The candidate will also partake in grant writing to secure additional funding.
Previous fellows have contributed review articles and book chapters, and have successfully submitted original scientific papers/abstracts and oral presentations. Further details of projects can be discussed in detail in person.
- The main responsibilities in addition to the MD (Res)/PhD are to support the cardiac intervention research activities.
